Fr. Michael Tueth, SJ
Fr. Michael Tueth, SJ, has been called Fordham University’s funniest Jesuit.

The “Mike” in question is no mystery to anyone who has taken Fordham’s communications courses such as Television Comedy, Film Comedy, or Films of Moral Struggle. Michael V. Tueth, SJ, is retired from teaching in the Department of Communication and Media Studies, and has long been the master of mirth and the sultan of sass.

Contrary to those who criticize Hollywood and see God only in movies like Paul, Apostle of Christ, popular movies often metaphorically represent God on the screen and can be a source "for finding God in all things".

During the Traverse City Film Festival, Fr. Michael Tueth, SJ, will show us how contemporary movies, particularly films of moral struggle, often demonstrate that Christian values and beliefs are very much alive! Join Fordham University’s professor as he shares his insights that will surely make your Film Festival experience more meaningful.
