Help Make Pope Francis’ Book a Bestseller and Share the Good News!

Loyola Press, a ministry of the Midwest Jesuits, is honored to be the North American publisher of Pope Francis’ first book, The Church of Mercy (click the links for news coverage: Chicago Tribune  and Publisher's Weekly).

With your help, we can ensure that the Pope's book reaches the widest possible audience by making it a bestseller. Here's how:

Every copy sold through Amazon.com or Barnes&Noble.com will count toward the New York Times bestseller list. We are focusing on generating as many pre-orders for the PAPERBACK* as possible so the book starts off with strong sales. The book will be shipped on Easter Sunday, April 20.

Please note: Sales determining bestseller status (including pre-orders) are measured through purchases at major retail and online outlets. Small Catholic store sales, including sales directly from Loyola Press, don't count. Orders of 50 or more are considered bulk purchases, and don’t count either.

If you believe in Pope Francis' message of mercy and compassion, why not join others who have committed to purchasing a copy of his book in advance?

It's a small gesture that will promote awareness of the book, attract media interest, and spread the Word even more. This has been a labor of love for Loyola Press, and we are committed to helping them get the word out.

On behalf of Loyola Press, thank you!

* Hardcover books are also available, but we are focusing on making the paperback bestseller list.
