Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School is seeking qualified candidates to fill four open positions.

The positions are:

Assistant Director of Development
Working closely with Director of Development, plans and implements fundraising, communication, new donor acquisition, and stewardship strategies for both the Adopt-A-Student Program and the Annual Fund. The Assistant Director is also responsible for working closely with the Director of Communications and Special Events, and coordinates special projects as well as the activities of the North Shore Women’s Circle. Click here for the full job description


Dean of Students
The duties of the Dean of Students at Christ the King Jesuit College Prep fall under two basic areas: culture and discipline. The Dean of Students collaborates with the students, parents, faculty and staff at Christ the King Jesuit College Prep to ensure a safe and orderly school environment. The Dean of Students models professional and respectful interactions with students, parents and colleagues. The Dean of Students serves as a member of the school’s administrative team, actively collaborating with the Principal, Associate Principal, CWSP Director, and other school leaders. Click here for the full job description | Click here to apply online



Development Officer
(New Position)

Working closely with Director of Development, the Development Officer is responsible for the school’s foundation support, including planning and implementing solicitation, stewardship and reporting strategies, as well as program development in partnership with various school staff.  The position reports to the Director of Development. Click here for the full job description

Faculty, Science – Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Faculty at Christ the King delivers rigorous, College Prep instruction to our students in accordance with the Cristo Rey Curriculum, USCCB, and Ignatian Pedagogy. Faculty are charged with modeling Grad at Grad principles for our students, and helping to deepen the faith life of students by fostering opportunities for students to connect with Christ, as our foundation and example. Christ the King Jesuit College Preparatory School is a safe, affordable, faith-based college prep high school serving families of Chicago's West Side who might not otherwise be able to afford a private high school.  A member of the nationally acclaimed Cristo Rey Network, Christ the King opened to freshmen only in the fall of 2008 and has added one class of students per year.  Our students earn up to 65-70% of the cost of their tuition through the Corporate Work-Study Program, a program unique to Cristo Rey schools.

August 21, 2018 — Pope Francis has responded to new reports of clerical sexual abuse and the ecclesial cover-up of abuse. In an impassioned letter addressed to the whole People of God, he calls on the Church to be close to victims in solidarity, and to join in acts of prayer and fasting in penance for such "atrocities".

October 17, 2018 — Let us pray in thanksgiving for the life of Fr. Thomas "Tom" S. McShane, SJ, who was called to eternal life on October 16, 2018. He was eighty-nine years old, a Jesuit for seventy-one years, and a priest for fifty-eight years.

What can all happen while sharing a meal together? For Christ, it was when he gave of himself at the Last Supper; for me, it is where I realized I needed to give of myself and enter the Jesuits as well as experienced unity among diversity.
