St. Aloysius Gonzaga Students in a Science Lab
Dear Benefactors and Friends,
I write to you with a great deal of joy in my heart as we mark thecompletion of another school year at St. Aloysius. Weare grateful to all ofyou who have supported us in every way through this year. It seems that, eachday, we take a smallstep; it is easy to neglect to look back and considerwhat has been accomplished since our modest beginnings in 2004.With our 59seniors, who have just finished their month-long final exams, we havegraduated just short of 300 students.Nearly all have continued on in thegraduate program with community service.
April 18, 2018 — We as a Church commemorate the moment Jesus went into the wilderness of the desert because the Spirit was leading him (Mk 1:12). I find the image of the Spirit leading Jesus powerful and true for all of us. My vocation in the Society has been where I am able to see the Spirit leading me beyond my awareness in the moment.
April 5, 2018 — Let us pray in thanksgiving for the life of Fr. James E. Chambers, SJ, who died on April 3, 2018, at Colombiere Center in Clarkston, Michigan. He was 93 years old. May he rest in peace.
